He Answered the Call After 9/11
Bryce Henson served as a U.S. Marine and Navy SEAL for nearly 21 years. His roles included Lead Breacher, Military Free Fall Jumpmaster, intelligence specialist, CQC and breaching instructor, shooting instructor, and enlisted leader.

After Two Decades of Service
The Mission Came Home
After returning from his eighth deployment, Bryce discovered that his children’s school was withholding information from parents. He refused to stay silent and stepped into a battle he would later come to understand as spiritual, one that would change the course of his life.

Up Against Monumental Odds
He adopted the pseudonym Ben “Lion Daddy” Richards and founded SoCal Parent Advocates, helping organize parents across Southern California to expose, challenge, and resist critical race theory, radical gender ideology, and vaccine and mask mandates in SoCal public schools.
Bryce played a critical role in helping flip nine school districts across California and advancing parental-notification resolutions that affected more than 175,000 students and their families.

When Everything Came Crashing Down
After helping build a successful parental-rights movement, Bryce became a target of Antifa activists. His identity was exposed, public attacks followed, and his military career and retirement were put at risk.

He Built His Life on a New Foundation in Christ
Through years of pressure, uncertainty, and great personal cost, Bryce’s faith reshaped his priorities, strengthened his family, and gave him greater clarity about his purpose and what would come next.
After nearly 21 years of military service, Bryce retired and entered a new chapter.
